Hey Bonnie! I lost 15lbs. since moving to Alabama. I started to make it a point to MOVE at least 30 consecutive minutes a day... every day. (I sit at a desk chair all day, then I come home and watch tv for the rest of what's left of it. When I hang out with friends, I eat and sit around and drink-- so making a point to get up and walk around was a daunting task)
I also kept a food journal and calculated all the calories I was eating in a day. I ate normally for the first 1 week, and added up the calories. I was eating about 2,300 calories a day (yeah it was a lot of fast food). So I started making all my meals and cut my calories down to 1,600 cals. That coupled with burning the minimum of 300 calories a day with exercize allowed me to lose 15lbs in about 2 months.
Now I eat fast food sometimes, but I look up the calories before I go. I also prefer healthier alternatives. Also I started pounding back the water like it was going out of style.
Anyway, thats what worked for me, and I was never hungry or feeling like I was being unreasonable.
Now the best part: Lauren's workout playlist: -Bulletproof-La Roux -Backstabber-Ke$ha -Fascination-La Roux -Bodyrock-Moby -Burning Down the House-Talking Heads -Dr. Yang-Ben Folds -Giving Up the Gun-Vampire Weekend -Hearing Damage-Thom Yorke -Horchata-Vampire Weekend -Timebomb-Beck -With You in my Head- Uncle featureing the Black Keys -Digital Love- Daft Punk -Bottle Rocket- The Go! Team -This Too Shall Pass- OK Go -Milk Crisis- The Go! Team -The Power is On- The Go! Team
Most of these songs are sickeningly peppy-- but they've got a driving backbeat that you can keep a pace to. Much love girl. FB me if you need anything else! You can do it!!!
